Flagship Clubhouse Closed Beginning Monday, March 16.
At The Flagship Clubhouse, our first priority is the health and safety of our members, mentors, and staff.
Following the guidance of state and local authorities, we have made the difficult decision to close The Flagship Clubhouse at 2107 Washington St. in Roxbury beginning Monday, March 16 and continuing at least through Saturday, March 21. To the best of our knowledge, there have not been any reported cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) within The Flagship Clubhouse community. Our decision to close is a preventative measure and we are confident that this is the right decision for the wellbeing of our community. We hope for this closure to be as short as possible. We know how disappointed many youth will be and that this will inconvenience many individuals.
Our plan is to consider future plans each Thursday on a weekly basis as this situation evolves. We will be sure to alert the whole community when we are once again open. While we’re closed, we will explore opportunities to build community, provide mentorship, and share activities online.
We are working with our facilities team to make sure our space is cleaned more often and more thoroughly and will continue to make sure our space is as clean as possible when we re-open. Additionally, we will provide signage, education, more soap, and more hand sanitizer to our participants when we all return to our space.
