MassArt Field Trip Recap & Upcoming Showcase

This past Friday the Clubhouse went on a field trip to Massachusetts College of Art & Design.  We had a fantastic time! It was a whirlwind of learning.  We saw dark rooms for exposing photos, glass making, video production, painting studios, graphic design spaces, metal workshops, kilns, ceramic making, jewelry making, and loads of other creative endeavors. The snow won’t stop us!  The Clubhouse is still open today Friday March 8 until 7:30 p.m.  We are also still planning on having the talented photographer and editor of Open Media Boston Jason Pramas come in as our guest C2C speaker. March Madness in the Clubhouse

The past couple weeks have been buzzing in the Clubhouse. Adobe Youth Voices Social Justice Media Workshop Recently we kicked off the Adobe Youth Voices Social Justice Media Workshops.  This past Saturday a group of MIT student volunteers from the MIT Office of Minority Education visited the Clubhouse and helped workshop participants in the pre-production of their projects.  Each of the Clubhouse workshop participants sat down with the MIT students 1:1 to discuss how to add intention, creativity, and originality in their work....

February Vacation Hours & C2C Field Trip to Boston ROCK

Ahoy Clubhouse Community!  We hope that you survived the blizzard of 2013 and are ready to get back into the Clubhouse groove.  We are now open for business and we’ll keep you up to date on rescheduled activities. In the meantime there are two important happenings to be aware of. UNO Clubhouse hours will change for February vacation from Tuesday 2/19- Friday 2/22.  We will be open from 1:00pm-5:00pm. 5 Awesome Clubhouse Happenings this February and Beyond

1. Harmless Hacking The Clubhouse has been harmlessly hacking and do it yourself crafts never looked so daringly doable.  From stashing a flash drive in a cassette to housing a USB in a lego, the Clubhouse has been making, tweaking, and hacking our way into challenging projects.  A Makey Makey project involving marshmallows and Gravity Guy is taking way, along with a game of Valentine Operation and a Makey Makey Lego Piano.  Don’t believe us?  Check out the projects this...
